About Us
owners.jpg (25133 bytes)Gerry and Kevin Elwood opened The Maids franchise in November 1998. Gerry managed the office the first 3 and a half years and then in the spring of 2002 Kevin, a CPA and former banker, came on board full time and manages the finance and accounting responsibilities. Kevin is also in charge of the carpet cleaning division. After steady growth we were thrilled to earn the "Franchise of The Year" award at the annual convention. To be chosen from all the franchises throughout the USA and Canada is very special and we are extremely proud of this accomplishment.

But there’s always more to do and we won’t stop until we are cleaning every house in Monmouth County! In February 2004 we moved our office from Shrewsbury Avenue to a much-needed bigger building on Maple Ave.
